Most People Don’t Make Money Blogging
Even though you might hear about a large number of people that get paid to blog, the reality is that a significant number of people only blog as a hobby, to share their thoughts, and will never receive a single cent for their efforts.Advertisers have, and always will, seek out the blogs with the most subscribers. That is one of the reasons why you see less advertising on more local programming that don’t see the viewership levels that national television outlets, or any other form of media, see. If you want to make money with your blog, you need to grow it as quickly as possible, but you can’t make any major mistakes, or you’ll be at the same level, but with content that is nearly useless.Readers need to have trust and faith in you as a blogger and you have to have a strong dominance in your niche. The reason that most people can’t attain this is because they are creating “personal” blogs that don’t have much purpose in the eyes of advertisers.Recent polls have found that more than half of all bloggers don’t make a significant portion of their total income. Generally, the people that took the poll make less than $500 a month, with a great percentage making just a few dollars each month. You have to find out what it takes to make money from your blog, and if you can’t, you will never make more than a few dollars from the clicks and occasional affiliate/referral revenue.
