Why Many Traffic Generating Widgets Fail

Published by blogtips under Basics Edit This

Thousands of widgets have been created in order to to help fill the void that traffic would normally fill. Only a few are still around today, the others losing the funding required to remain in operation.

Traffic-generating sites and widgets were created with several flaws, to start off with.

For one, people who visit sites through them have very little interest in the sites that they are visiting, and may not even view them if they are using an automatic method or have a timer that allows them to leave the site, then come back after the timer reaches zero. In the end, this means that the site you see doesn’t receive much attention, if any at all.

Secondly, it takes thousands of hours to get the credits or visitor time that ti requires to even be rewarded for utilizing the service. While many of the services claim to “guarantee” thousands of visitors, they won’t buy your products, click through your posts, or subscribe. It is pointless, in the end.

Finally, many of the members of these sites lose interest in the program and leave before it finally takes off, leaving the owner with the only choice of to close the site.

What are your thoughts on traffic-generating (free) services?
