Will You Receive a Blog Award?
Thousands of people receive blog awards each day. Often, you will never hear about them, but they are taking place across the web by independent bloggers and people who share passions for certain subjects. A blog award is an award for the best blog in a given category. Will you receive a blog award for your efforts as a blogger?
Here are some general tips on how to become a candidate of a blog award, no matter how small or large.
- Write unique content.
- Tell other people to vote for your blog if it has become a candidate.
- Connect with other people holding contests - get your blog’s name out there.
- Run your own contest/award ceremony to select your favorite blogs - others might even invite you into theirs.
- Become a judge on a blog award committee to see what the process is all about.
It isn’t that difficult to enter and possibly win an award, it just means that you have the best blog in a certain category, no matter how unique that category is. Often, you win the satisfaction of knowing that you have a good blog, otherwise you can win gift certificates, cash, or blog-related prizes.
